Process and steps

1

Inperium makes an immediate loan to help the organization meet its commitments.

2

The agency’s full board voluntarily resigns. Inperium’s leadership manages immediate issues and implements a viable plan.

3

Inperium establishes an interim program management team to hire key internal staff while stabilizing operations and creating staff accountability for adolescent care.

4

With new training and HR managers in place, Crossroads has increased its productivity. Net assets more than doubled between 2018 and 2020, growing from $2.3M in August 2018 to $4.7M in August 2020.

Results

After partnering with Inperium, Advancing Opportunities successfully negotiated the termination of two unnecessary leases, paid off lines of credit, loans, and mortgages, and settled all state advances. They’ve been able to open three new group homes to increase revenue and serve more people. Advancing Opportunities is now financially stable and serving their community according to their mission.

The affiliation with Inperium has resulted in stability within the organization- financial, programmatic and leadership stability. This partnership with Inperium has afforded us the ability to grow, to enhance programs and address all physical plant issues. As a result, more and more New Jersey children have been given the hope that they need to achieve success and happiness in their lives.
