Michael C. Herr hired as Executive Vice President and Chief Insurance and Risk Officer

We are pleased to announce that Michael C. Herr, CPU, has been hired as Executive Vice President and the Chief Insurance and Risk Officer of Inperium Inc. Mr. Herr most recently served as Managing Director PA and Executive Vice President at Tompkins Insurance Agencies, Ithaca, New York. Previously he was Chief Operating Officer for VIST Insurance, Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Mr. Herr is an accomplished insurance expert with over 30 years of diverse experience and a proven track record in the insurance industry, having begun his career as an underwriter for CNA Insurance, Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Herr has served on the Advisory Councils for several insurance carriers, including the Pennsylvania School Boards Association Insurance Trust. Additionally, he has served as the Chair of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Insurance Committee and as a member of the Government Relations Committee. His community involvement includes service on the Boards of various nonprofits, including Inperium, Reading, Pennsylvania and the John Paul II Center for Special Learning, Shillington, Pennsylvania. Mr. Herr received a degree in Business Administration/Finance from Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and has completed courses at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School Aresty Institute of Executive Education.
