Michael Herr

Mr. Herr most recently served as Managing Director PA and Executive Vice President at Tompkins Insurance Agencies, Ithaca, New York. Previously he was Chief Operating Officer for VIST Insurance and a member of the VIST Bank Senior Leadership Team, Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Mr. Herr is an Ex-Officio Board Member of Inperium and a former Board Member of Supportive Concepts for Families, Inperium’s predecessor. He is an accomplished insurance expert with over 30 years of diverse experience and a proven track record in the insurance industry, having begun his career as an underwriter for CNA Insurance, Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Herr has served on the Advisory Councils for several insurance carriers, including the Pennsylvania School Boards Association Insurance Trust. Additionally, he has served as the Chair of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Insurance Committee and as a member of the Government Relations Committee. His community involvement includes service on the Boards of various nonprofits, including Inperium, Reading, Pennsylvania and the John Paul II Center for Special Learning, Shillington, Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and has completed courses at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School Aresty Institute of Executive Education.
