Building Better Futures
What began in 1973 as a small operation serving 30 clients in Marienville, Pennsylvania, has now grown into 26 programs across five states, supporting more than 5,000 individuals each year. Abraxas joined the Inperium constellation in 2021 seeking the resources to sustain expansion efforts.
Abraxas prides itself on making meaningful differences in the lives of those it serves. As one Abraxas resident shared: “Thanks to Abraxas…I rebuilt relationships with people who I thought would never ever take me back. I made people who were disgusted with me proud of me. If stuff like that isn’t reason enough to walk away from the drug and criminal subculture you’re involved in, I don’t know what is. I owe the staff at Abraxas a debt that can never be repaid. I am eternally grateful.”

Since affiliating with Inperium, Abraxas has experienced significant growth and mission fulfillment while preserving its identity, brand, and leadership.
Revenue increased 58 percent, from $71 million in 2021 to $112 million in 2025, and the organization has expanded its programs to better serve vulnerable populations across five states.
Abraxas is now in a strong position to further grow its impact and continue expansion into new markets while offering more comprehensive services that meet the growing needs of youth and families.
