Colleen Miller appointed Chief Executive Officer of Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc.
We are pleased to announce that Colleen Miller has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. (SCFFI), effective August 31, 2026.
Colleen brings more than 25 years of experience in the health and human services field. Her passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities began while working as Therapeutic Support Staff during college. The relationships she developed with the individuals she supported became the foundation for a career dedicated to service, leadership, and improving the lives of others.
As Chief Executive Officer, Colleen will provide strategic and operational leadership for SCFFI and oversee the organization’s day-to-day operations. Her focus will include strengthening person-centered services, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting and developing employees and leaders, and promoting consistent, high-quality services across all programs, sites, and regions.
Prior to returning to SCFFI, Colleen served as an Executive Director and Personal Care Home Administrator with Sunrise Senior Living. In recognition of her leadership and commitment to quality, she was named the 2025 Pennsylvania State Administrator of the Year by the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association.
Colleen’s appointment also marks a return to SCFFI, where she previously served for two years as Executive Director of the Northeast and Southeast Regions. Her familiarity with the organization, its employees, and the individuals and families we support provides a strong foundation as she steps into this new leadership role.

Colleen earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University. She lives with her family in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, and enjoys attending concerts, cooking, baking, and entertaining—especially during Eagles season.
