Process and steps

1

Inperium made an immediate loan to help the organization meet its commitments.

2

The agency’s full board voluntarily resigned. Inperium’s leadership managed immediate issues and implemented a viable plan.

3

Inperium established an interim program management team to hire key internal staff while stabilizing operations and creating staff accountability for adolescent care.

4

With new training and HR managers in place, Crossroads increased its productivity. Net assets more than doubled between 2018 and 2020, growing from $2.3M in August 2018 to $4.7M in August 2020.

Results

Inperium’s stabilizing effect on Crossroads was instant. The quality of care immediately improved with proper staffing and accountability measures. Inperium helped Crossroads purchase a property and have it operational within three months, in compliance with its outstanding contracts. Since then, a new electronic health records system, training, and HR managers have been chosen and implemented. Crossroads’ net assets doubled within a two-year period after affiliation, and the organization is stable and continuing to grow. Since 2021, Crossroads has increased revenue by 16% and net assets by 41% due to the strong operational performance of the organization.

Prior to affiliation with Inperium, Crossroads shared staff and resources with another organization, leading to mission drift, instability, and reduced morale. After separation, Crossroads regained focus, strengthened operations, and rebuilt its organizational identity.
