Jeff Giovino, M.A., has been an innovative and impactful leader in the health & human services industry for almost 30 years. Mr. Giovino has over 30 years of experience in leadership positions for non-profit and for-profit organizations and is a proven entrepreneur, business owner and corporate executive. Mr. Giovino brings a peculiar mix of leadership, strategic, and operational experiences to the Inperium Leadership Team that enables him to be a key contributor to the constellation growth of Inperium.
Mr. Giovino currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Inperium, Inc. In this role, Mr. Giovino partners with and assist the affiliate organizations as needed with the day-to-day operations while working on business strategy and development creating sustainability and growth of the Constellation of Companies.
Most recently, Mr. Giovino served as the Chief Operating Officer of Elwyn, the country’s oldest provider of services to individuals with disabilities, and was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a $400M, multi-state, 6,000 employee non-profit healthcare organization that provides behavioral health, education and disability support services to over 40,000 individuals per year. While in this role, he led major organizational initiatives, including $65million in service expansion and the acquisition of a large non-profit mental health organization. Additionally, he directly supervised Human Resources, Government Relations, Innovation and Technology, Medical Services, Real Estate and Facilities Management.
Before joining Elwyn, Mr Giovino served as the Chief Operating Officer of VisionQuest, LDT, a for-profit company and nationally recognized leader in the operation of community based and residential programming for at-risk youth, adults and families. While with VisionQuest, Mr. Giovino provided supervision and oversaw the day-to-day operations.
Mr. Giovino’s private business involvement includes being the founder of several prominent human services organizations on the east coast. That experience includes being the chairman of a unique multi-state transportation company that provides transportation services to public and private healthcare organizations that serve children and adults with behavioral health, substance abuse and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Mr. Giovino brings an extensive amount of board experience to Inperium and its Affiliates. Jeff previously served on multiple non-profit boards for organizations functioning within the health and humans service industry and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Edison Court, Inc.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland. Mr. Giovino also holds a Master of Administration degree from Shippensburg University.
